Privacy Policy for Workshow

Data we collect

• Account: A Supabase-managed user ID created when you sign in with Apple.
• Subscription status: Information about whether your account is in trial or has an active subscription, to control feature access.
• Content: Photos you upload and information about the pairs we create. This includes which photos were matched and technical details about the match from our algorithm.
• Product usage (minimal): Share events you trigger (what was shared and how it was rendered) to improve sharing features.

Data we do not collect

• No payment or financial information (handled securely by Apple).
• No precise location, contacts, calendars, health, or sensor data.
• No push notifications or device tokens.
• No third‑party advertising identifiers, SDKs, or analytics trackers.

How we use data

• Provide core features: upload, store, and display photos; generate photo pairs; background uploads; realtime updates.
• Maintain security and reliability (e.g., retry uploads, cache management).
• Improve our services and technology, which includes using content to train our machine learning models.

Cloud services and sharing

• We use Supabase for authentication, database, storage, and realtime delivery.
• We do not sell your personal data or share it with advertisers.

Storage and security

• Data is transmitted over TLS and stored with access controls.
• Photos are delivered via time‑limited signed URLs.
• On-device caches (e.g., thumbnails, drafts) are cleared when you sign out.

Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your data is permanently and immediately deleted from all our systems. We may retain certain information only if required by law.

Your choices

You have control over your personal data. You can manage your content, access your information, and request corrections. You can delete your account at any time through the app (Settings / Data controls / Delete account) or by contacting us at hello@workshow.ai.

Children

Workshow is not directed to children under 13 (or the age required by your region).

Changes

We may update this policy. We'll post the new effective date above.

International Data Transfers

Your information is processed and stored on servers that may be located outside of your country of residence, including in regions used by our cloud provider, Supabase. By using Workshow, you consent to this transfer.

Governing Law

This policy and any disputes related to it are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
